Could you present yourself to our readers?

Saori: I do show producing, writing lyrics and composing.

Fukase: Hi, I am Fukase, the vocalist. I like to drink alcohol. Please check “Death Disco”!

DJ LOVE: I am DJ LOVE, the one with the clown mask.

Nakajin: I am Nakajin and I am the leader of the band and the sound producer. I’m always investigating and finding new sounds. I play guitar and I play almost every instrumental. I think I’m an honest and patient person. And I like sports.

How did you come up with the band’s name SEKAI NO OWARI?

Saori: Because Fukase made up this name.

Could you say a few words about your new European single?

Nakajin: I transformed Fukase’s vocal by using vocal effects. Though the lyrics are in Japanese, I’d be happy if you can pay attention to the meaning of the lyrics, too.

Do you plan on making a European tour this year or next year?

DJ LOVE: For now, there is no plan, but I personally want to do.

Which one of your songs represents you the most as an artist?

Nakajin: It changes depending on the time where we are at. I recently think that the newest song represents us the most. So it’s “Hono to Mori no Carnival” now.

Is there any European artist you would like to collaborate with?

Fukase: Nicky Romero.

If you would be stuck in a movie or an anime, which one would it be and why?

DJ LOVE: If it’s a movie, I want to play a role who immediately dies. If it’s an anime, I want to play anything even it’s a small role.

Do you have a favorite Japanese Idiom? Which one would it be and what does it mean to you?

Saori: I like “Itadaki masu” and “Gochiso sama”. Those expressions are something original that we only have in Japanese and my friend from foreign country said those are beautiful words and that made me realize its beauty.

What parts of Europe do you like the most?

Saori: Toscana in Italy. That’s where I travelled alone for the first time and I thought the world is big.

Can you leave a message for your European fans and Japako Music readers?

Nakajin: We haven’t played that much in overseas yet, but the last time we did, it was very exciting and fun, so I want to do it again.
