Japanese pop group AKB48 release new single, members to graduate from the group, and one member to have her solo debut!
AKB48 has released their new single album, titled ‘Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby‘; it is available in nine versions and all tracks were written by Yasushi Akimoto. The music video for the title track was directed by Eiki Takahashi and the full version lasts for 13 minutes. However, it can only be found in the limited single editions. It has been announced that this is Minami Takahashi‘s last single with the group as she will be leaving them at the end of March. So she’ll be promoting with her still-fellow members and will stay in the center position for performances!
In additional news, member Iwata Karen has announced her graduation as well. She revealed, she wants to focus on her acting studies as she wants to become a stage actress. Her graduation date hasn’t been set yet though.
Whatsoever, there are also good news for fans! Fujita Nana‘s solo debut single has been announced! It will be titled ‘Migiashi Evidence‘. Her solo debut was decided after her win of the “AKB48 Group Janken Tournament 2015” in September. There will be another track, titled “Kimi wa Ima Made Doko ni Ita?“, which is usually sung by the 2nd – 16th place winners. Additionally, the CD will also contain the off vocal versions. There will be a DVD as well which will contain the music videos for the two tracks and the ‘AKB48 Group Ura Janken Tournament 2015‘.
