The Japanese folk-pop duo Kobukuro will release their new album ‘TIMELESS WORLD‘ in June!

The duo consists of the members Kobuchi Kentaro and Kuroda Shunsuke who originally debuted back in 1999 as indie artists. Since 2001 they are signed under Warner Music Japan and have released various singles, albums etc. Now, they will return with a new full album!

TIMELESS WORLD‘ contains 15 tracks including a few theme songs; “Twilight”, “Kiseki”, “Mirai”, “STAGE” for upcoming drama ‘Keishicho Sousa Ikkachou’ (April 2016), and more. Check out their album preview on their website [HERE].

The album is named after “NAMELESS WORLD”, Kobukuro’s album released back in December of 2005. The original album cover shows Ebisubashi which is a place in Osaka where they once held street lives. For the upcoming release though, they want to use photos of their fans’ faces to form Ebisubashi. If you are interested in taking part in this project, please check out their website [HERE].

There will be a Limited Edition available which will include a DVD of live footage. It will be officially released on June 15th, so stay tuned for more updates here at Japako Music!
