Here’s a little post to enlighten you guys a bit more about 24K‘s two newest members who have finally been unmasked!

24K have had various member line ups since their debut. Prior to debut, the group started off as 4K consisting of members Seokjune, Kisu, Sungoh and Cory, who are considered the ‘vocal aspect’ of 24K. After the addition of the 2K members, which consisted of Daeil and Byungho (who were the ‘dance and rap aspect’ of the group), the six members finally debuted as 24K with “Hurry Up” back in 2012.

Member Seokjune left the group in 2013 for their “U R SO CUTE” comeback because of back injuries. He was then replaced by Jeunguk.

Prior to the “Hey You” era, Byungho left the group. A statement was released claiming that he had a marriage and child that he kept from the company and his members, along with the fact that he had health problems. That’s when images of two new members began to surface, yet their faces were masked.

In the “Hey You” music video AND era itself, these two new members were masked for the most part of it, leaving fans in anticipation. Fans began to call them their ‘masked oppas‘, showing the fans’ never ending support towards 24K and their new members. Finally, towards the end of their promotions, the two members got to perform – without masks on this time!  On the 31st of March, the two new members performed without their masks on at Inkigayo! Although we cannot provide a link because it got taken down off YouTube for copyright purposes, you can find another performance down below where they performed unmasked on ‘THE SHOW‘!

These two masked oppas turned out to be Hui and Jinhong! Jinhong used to be a member of AA/Double A and was born in 1998, making him the new maknae of the group! New member Hui is Chinese, making 24K multicultural considering Cory also lived in the States too!

Check out the performance below and tell us what you think!
