Sad news for K-music lovers. 2017 has made its first K-pop group victim.
Signal Entertainment has officially announced that starting from now on, M.I.B as a group won’t exist anymore. The label stated: “The contract was terminated last year and we decided not to renew with 3 of the members. We judged that it would be best for them to carry on individual promotions as the 4 members have different musical colors.”
The only member still under the agency is Kangnam but his contract will also expire this year, in March. However, the label stated that it’s too early to make any statement regarding Kangnam’s future with Signal Entertainment.
We at Japako Music really wish all the members a succesfull future as soloist, whatever path they will decide to follow. Thank you M.I.B for the years together!
