Alice Nine was formed in 2004, they didn’t have an easy start but they were doing good anyway. They got more success in 2008 as I understood. In Europe, they started to be more known in 2010 since they signed with a German record label in this year. Still we never saw them in Europe, which is really sad. Alice Nine is supported by the successful band The Gazette and it’s because of them that we discovered Alice Nine. This was a really nice surprise, that’s why we decided to support them as well. They have surely talent and charisma on stage. They have a lot of great songs but their style is totally different from The Gazette, which is a good thing. They make softer rock songs, not too hard to listen to. It’s accessible to a larger public that’s why we advise you to check them out because they are worth it! It’s been a long time now they are in the visual key scene, so they made 5 full length albums. In 2004 and 2005, they first released a few EP’s but in 2006, they released their first album „Zekkeishoku“. But it’s with „Alpha“, released in 2007, that they really started to get their success. In 2009, they released their third album „Vandalize“. Even though they had some problem with the health of their guitarist, they finally managed in between to make a tour for the happiness of their fans. In 2011, they released a new album „Gemini“ and their last album „9“ has been released this year 2012. You can find the album review under this presentation, please check it out and don’t forget to listen to them at the same time.
Unfortunately, we cannot see a lot of them in Shows and whatsoever because in Japan they are not as active as in Korea. So we can only make a short presentation of the member. The singer Shou is cute and sing very well. He has a lot of charisma and seems to be a real philosopher in the way he is expressing himself. Hiroto, the lead guitarist is great when it comes to play guitar and he has a really nice smile. The other guitarist is Tora, he can also play guitar beautifully and give us pretty nice solo like Hiroto. Saga is the bassist and the drummer is Nao. They are really good as well that’s why Alice Nine is making such wonderful songs. On stage they really have a lot of presence and seem to enjoy to be there. They are moving a lot and giving a lot of energy. They are able to give you a lot of emotions just by playing their songs, it’s always nice to watch them live.
We really hope to be able to get more of Alice Nine here in Europe and Japako Music will try hard to have the possibility to get to know them a bit better. So please give them love and a lot of support, they really deserve their success and we want them to grow even more on the international scene.
