The Japanese rock band Heidi is present on the visual key scene since 2006. They already have some experiences and we can totally notice it when they are on stage. They have a lot of talent and make really beautiful songs. Their atmosphere is dark, but well it’s true for a lot of Japanese bands. But they also have this strange attitude that makes them different. They have a lot to give when they are on stage and they are able to put the public on fire. Unfortunately, they are not that big yet in Japan, and we don’t see much about them, which is sad. They never came to Europe, but they went to the US two times for anime conventions. We would really like to see them on stage here in Europe as well, that’s why Japako Music decided to support them.

They are four members, you have of course the singer Yoshihiko who has such an amazing vocal capacity. He can sing really well and high. He is totally weird. When I see him I cannot help but think about L from the anime Deathnote, not as in they really look alike, but in the attitude, it’s kind of the same. That’s probably why he is kind of charming. Then you have Nao the guitarist but also the back vocalist. He can give us really nice solo, he is always very fashionable and as strange as the singer Yoshihiko. The Bassist Kohsuke who is really cute, has also great skills when it comes to playing bass. He gives a lot of energy on stage like the drummer Kiri. Kiri is an amazing drummer of course, he is always giving 100% of himself. He must be really tired afterwards. But well at least, we have one hell of a concert with Heidi.
They made a lot of releases and of course, for their debut they did EP’s, but I am gonna talk only about the full length album for them, it will be easier to follow. Their very firts album „Kasou“ was released in 2007. Then with the second album „Innocence“, released in 2008, they did a better entry in the charts and so started to get some attention. In 2009, they released another album „Panorama“ which contains 3 famous songs „Hello!“, „Tsubasa“ and „Orange drama“. One year later, they released another album „Senkou mellow“ which had a pretty good welcome in the charts as well. In this album, you can find the song „Yokan“ which was the first ending of the anime Kaichou wa maid-sama. Finally, they made their come back in 2012 with their album „Alpha“, you can find the review of this album under this presentation, don’t hesitate to check it out.

Our last words would be, if you love rock music, if you love Japanese rock bands, you can only like them as well, so check them out and hopefully we will be able to bring them in Europe, wouldn’t it be nice? So let’s support Heidi and send them our love!
