Who doesn’t know Luna Sea? All the fans of J-rock should know them since they are one of the pioneers of the Visual Key movement. And Japako Music couldn’t miss to talk about them as they have made a come back after 12 years of absence. There’s only one word to describe Luna Sea, legend. They ruled the visual key scene for mostly 15 years. They are making a come back after 12 years and they are directly entering the charts with their single „The end of the dream“. Luna Sea it’s a huge story starting in 1986, but even though they disbanded in 2000, the media was still talking about them because they are considered as one of the band who has influenced the visual Key scene the most. They already did a come back in 2007 to make some concerts and finally make a world tour. This year 2013, they decided to release a new album and we are sure all the fans of Luna Sea are expecting this album with impatience.
They are just amazing artists, Ryuichi and his great vocals performances. The two guitarists Inoran and Sugizo, the bassist J and the drummer Shinya are just wonderful musicians, able to make you feel emotions with their instruments. They don’t have to demonstrate their talents anymore. Live they are just awesome of course. Prove to be said, when they announce a concert date, the day the tickets are put on sale, it needs just a few hours to be sold out. This is how famous they are!
They have a really big discography and since they are really known, we don’t think it’s necessary to talk about their releases. We can only say, they released 7 full length album from 1991 to 2000 which is a good number and it’s between 1992 and 1994 that they started to get a real success. In 1995, they were able to hold a concert at the Tokyo Dome, showing that their success has reached the top. Now the only thing you have to do is check them if you don’t know them already and if you know them, well just listen to their songs and enjoy once again their talents!
Welcome back Luna Sea!
