When we discovered M.I.B, standing for Most Incredible Busters, we just thought „waouh! They are amazing!“. But then when we wanted to see more, we definitely saw how underrated they were. Indeed, with their last song „Only hard for me“ they are doing well, but it’s still very hard to find a lot about them and we think it’s very sad because they are really talented. M.I.B, it’s four guys, only one lead singer and three rappers. They were formed in 2011 and came directly with a full length album called „Most incredible busters“. With the song „GDM“, they got known for sure, but it is still less than we can expect for this talented band. Each of them also did solo songs. Basically, they are a bit older than the members you can find in other new bands, but at least they have the maturity to face this business, which is not always easy. They were able to produce their first album themselves and all that in the US. Anyway, we want to help them get more success and get known as well in Europe and everywhere because we love them and we believe in them.
M.I.B, it’s 4 guys with strong personalities and a lot of charisma, they are not known for their cuteness, even though they are very handsome. The leader 5Zic is definitely very impressive, he has such a presence on stage and can rap so well. He totally has the bad boy look but he seems really nice and funny. He has a lot of talent and he is handsome. Kangnam who is the lead singer, is half Korean and half Japanese, we have to say it makes a very nice mix. He is totally cute with such a beautiful voice. He has a special voice that he uses it very well and once you listen to him, you just want to hear more. He seems to be very funny and friendly as well, he has a warm smile that gives you a comfortable feeling. Then, you have the other rapper Cream, he is also really talented, his voice fits well with 5Zic’s voice, it’s making a very good mixture. He seems a bit more serious than the two others but he is also very handsome. His stage name is funny though since he is really acting like he is a bad boy and all, but when you hear his name, it’s totally the opposite feeling, so maybe he is a bad boy with a sweet heart? Let’s find out! SIMS, the last but not least, is also a rapper. He is also the youngest of the band, talented and good looking. Well, basically, they all have a very strong personality, talking all the time and having fun. That’s what we like and that’s why we want to support them.
Now regarding their music, they made one full album for their debut in October 2011, the album is named „The most incredible busters“ and has 11 songs. In this album, you can also find one solo song from every member. At least, we can then appreciate all their talent during one entire song. This album is really well done, for most of the songs, you just want to stand up and move in the rhythm. You cannot miss this album because it’s worth listening to it. Their second release is a mini album this time, they released it in May 2012. The EP named „Illusion“ with the beautiful song „Only hard for me“ which is giving them a good success. They also have the known song „Celebrate“ remixed in a different way. The sad part is that we have only 4 real new songs in this album. But we want to hear more so for all who loves K-pop listen to them and support them, so we have more MIB’s song, that’s all we are asking for.
In interviews, they can be serious but also very funny. Unfortunately, we don’t have that many opportunities to see them acting during interviews because they are still a bit underrated. Live, they are a bit different from the K-pop bands we all know, they are not really doing any choreography but that doesn’t mean they don’t move their ass of course. They dance for sure, just a bit less. But they have a lot of presence and share a lot with the public, it’s the most important thing anyway! Now all we can say is: let’s keep fighting to give them the success they deserve!
After being absent in the music industry as a group for years, in January 2017 M.I.B announced its official disbandment.
