Pritz are a South Korean girl group with a unique concept – they are styled similarly to how J-pop bands are! They made their debut in 2014 under Pandragram Entertainment with “Go Girls!” – a peppy anime-style music video.
The group is comprised of four members and three mascots! The members are: Yuna, Shua, Hana, and Ari, with mascots Crank, Subakmon, and Pumpy!
Yuna, a ’94 liner, is the oldest member of Pritz! She was born in Seoul and always had the dream of becoming a solo artist, however she is now happily a part of Pritz! Yuna’s favourite music artists include Damien Rice and Amy Winehouse. With the blood type O, Yuna is set to be confident and strong willed!
Next up is the member Shua! Shua is a ’95 liner and is from Chuncheon of the Gangwon Province! Shua is greatly known for her charming and cutie style eye-smile! Shua is also a G-Dragon fan! Aren’t we all? Shua’s favourite artists include Mad Clown, Shinhwa, and Park Hyo Shin!
Like Shua, Hana is a ’95 Liner! She was born in Seoul and her hobbies are going on relaxing walks while listening to her favourite singers (such as Younha and Dynamic Duo)! Hana is known for her baby-style visual, like her skin and eye-smile!
Pritz‘s three mascots are a delightful addition to the group! Crank is is a bear-style mascot who was “born” on the 8th of August 2014! Subakmon has the appearance of a watermelon, and was born on the 1st of July 2014, and finally, Pumpy, a pink vampire, is the latest addition!
Unfortunately, Pritz are currently on hiatus, however fans are expecting a great comeback when they return to the music scene! These girls are breaking barriers with their Japanese-style releases, and by doing so, are opening up a whole new music scene to both the Korean and Japanese pop industry!
With their charismatic and exciting music videos, fans certainly will want to dance along to the beat of the Pritz girls!
