Tasty debuted in 2012 under Woollim Entertainment, after previously having spent several years as JYP Entertainment trainees. Due to the long trainee time, and switching companies in the midst of things, they were somewhat older than your average rookies by the time they debuted, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The duo has immense amounts of potential, which we can only hope will be nurtured by both Woollim Entertainment as well as S.M. Entertainment, their company after the Woollim – S.M. C&C merge in late 2013.
Not yet as popular or known as some of their peers, we’re certain it won’t take long before these boys will have the world as their stage. Tasty consists of twin boys, Daeryong and Soryong. Both talented dancers and singers, they have also displayed their acting skills, as can be seen on the music video for their third single, “Day’n Night”.
Soryong has a slightly softer voice, but apart from that, it can be sometimes hard to distinguish between them. Daeryong is the older of the two. Their first single, Spectrum, with the title song “Your Know Me”, was released in July 2012. It was a whole year before their comeback, with the second single Spectacular, and its title song “MAMAMA”. Their third single, “Day’n Night”, was released in November 2013, and with it, two music videos for
the song; The official music video, filmed entirely in Hong Kong, and a performance music video. If you’re not familiar with them yet, we highly recommend you take a listen and see what you think. And if you’re already a fan, keep supporting them. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
