The Japanese duo Kobukuro has unveiled the jacket covers for their upcoming single ‘Mirai‘!

Their new track will be used as the theme song for the upcoming live-action movie ‘orange‘, based on Takano Ichigo’s same called manga series, which will be out on December 12th. In the movie Tsuchiya Tao is playing the high school student heroine Takamiya Naho and Yamazaki Kento will play the transfer student Naruse Kakeru. The story is about a 16-years old girl who receives a letter from herself. However, it is from herself as a 26-years old, so from 10 years in the future. It says, there will be transfer student called Naruse Kakeru and to watch out for him.

Fitting to the movie’s theme, Kobukuro have used a similar jacket cover of ‘Sakura‘ which they released 10 years ago! Instead of a tree with cherry blossoms, there is a tree without any leaves. You can check out the new cover above and the previous one below to compare them.
