Korean girl group MAMAMOO made an impressive appearance on KBS 2 TV “You Heeyeol’s Sketchbook’ on July 10th.

The girls started off the show with a performance of their debut track “Mr. Ambiguous” and in the short, roughly 38 second bridge of the song, MAMAMOO surprised the audience by inserting a medley of hit K-pop songs. The medley included songs by SISTAR, BIG BANG, GG and Taeyang’s collaborative track “Good Boy,” EXID, Miss A, JYP, and more.  The audience was surprised and amazed by the performance and cheered whenever the song changed.

After the performance, the MC You Heeyeol came on stages to praise the group and they settled in for an interview, where he introduced MAMAMOO as a very talented group. During the interview, they were asked whether or not they wanted to appear on variety shows, to which they replied that “we think we are good at reality shows. We are really funny behind cameras. People laugh a lot seeing us dancing around in practice room just for fun.”   MAMAMOO also got up and showed the audience how they would dance for fun to SISTAR’s “Give It To Me” and “Touch My Body” as well as Girls’ Day’s “Something.”

The girls also revealed that they believed that their strength is their performances on stage. They try to create differences between each of their stages, because they believe that it would be meaningless to show the exact same performance every time.

Meanwhile, MAMAMOO’s latest song “Um Oh Ah Yeh” has topped major online music charts in Korea and abroad.
