The girl band Miss A officially disbands after 7 years.

On December 27th, JYP Entertainment released a short statement about the band stating, “Our label’s girl band MISS A has disbanded.” The disappointing news was something fans could possibly anticipate after two members did not renew their contract with the company. Jia left in May 2016 as well as Min in November 2017, leaving Fei and Suzy as all that was left of the once four-members band.

Miss A debuted on July 1st, 2010 with their massive hit, “Bad Girl, Good Girl“. Their debut track put the band at number 1 on the KBS Music Bank, making the song an instant success. During the 7 years the Miss A’s artists were together, they released 2 full-length albums, 3 EPs, and 8 singles, including hits such as “Hush” and “I Don’t Need A Man“. Their most recent comeback was the “Colors” EP and the title track of “Only You“.
