B.I.G are back as a full group with the music video ‘Hello Hello’.
The only music video released to date for ‘Hello Hello’ is this “performance version” so perhaps there may be another music video in the works for the future? As this IS the performance version, the music video is centred primarily on choreography (which is pretty cool and executed well)! The performance is done in different shots with different outfits. The main outfit themes are red plaid, and light denim. I like how the members all wear matching colours and materials to fit in with the theme! The attire is simple too, so the viewer isn’t overwhelmed by possibly over-the-top outfit themes.
Apart from the various dance shots, the music video also has individual member shots and scenes that are more focused on various aspects of the dancing, which are filmed in black and white. However the only distracting thing would be the flashing light effects which take away from how ‘edgy’ the music video feels.
In total the music video has a raw edge to it – which is emphasised by the charisma of the B.I.G members! Just look at their individual shots – their eyes are on fire! This is also backed up by the song itself which is the perfect blend of catchy and edgy. I particularly loved the rap lines and the choreography that went along with it. There is no story to this music video, so there is not a lot to say about it, which is why I give it a 4 out of 5 rating! I really enjoyed listening to the song and watching the dancing, however!
