There is so much new stuff on the way from URBANGARDE!
Seems like the band will be filling up the first half of the year with their new upcoming projects!
After releasing the first solo album ‘Film Noir’ six years ago, the band’s vocalist Yoko Hamasaki will be dropping her second solo album titled ‘Blue Forest’ on June 15th. It was revealed that the album was completely created by the singer herself. Along with the release of an album, Yoko Hamasaki will also go on a tour titled ‘Into the Forest – Dark Blue Door’.
Moreover, URBANGARDE will also be releasing a Limited Edition CD ‘Showa 91’ with their live show performances. The disc will come out in two versions, the “Monkey” and the “Regular” editions. The album covers can be checked out below, it’s pretty obvious which is which!
And that’s not all! The band also has plans to release their personal photo book later this month. The 80-page book will be titled ‘Monthly URBANGARDExTRMN’, and will contain the group’s visualisation of their music.
Besides the music scene, the band’s vocalist Temma Matsunaga is also trying his hand at writing, and his new book will come out in the second half of the year. He has made his writing debut with ‘Jisatsushatachi’ (Selfie People) last year, and now he will be coming back with a new novel titled ‘Shoujo ka, shousetsu ka’ (Girl, or novel?).
Sounds interesting, right? Keep an eye on the updates, and stay tuned for URBANGARDE’s upcoming projects!
